A tribute to Dr Luis Schwalbach

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Dr Luis Schwalbach and his wife, Christina, passed away on Sunday, 9 October 2011, in a motorcar accident near Winburg in the Free State. We wish to express our condolences to their family and to the Department of Animal, Wildlife & Grassland Sciences at the University of the Free State where Dr Schwalbach was a lecturer for several years.

Dit is met leedwese en skok dat ek u moet meedeel dat Dr Luis Schwalbach en sy vrou, Christina, gister, Sondag 9 Oktober 2011, in ’n motorongeluk naby Winburg in die Vrystaat oorlede is. Ons wil ons innige meegevoel uitspreek teenoor hul familie en teenoor die Departement van Vee-, Wild- en Weidingkunde aan die Universiteit van die Vrystaat waar Dr Schwalbach vir baie jare ’n dosent was.
