SASAS Congress 2023 – There was no SASAS congress in 2023, but SASAS co-hosted the All Africa Conference on Animal Agricultur for the first time  from 26 to 28 September in Gaberone, Botswana. Congress theme: “Sustainable African Animal Agriculture : Challenges and future prospects”

The 53rd SASAS Congress was held from 26 to 28 September 2022 at the Ascot Conference Centre in Pietermaritzburg.
Theme: Changing paradigms in livestock production – confronting a new reality

52nd Congress Proceedings are now available.
The 52nd SASAS Congress was held virtually from 10–12 August 2021 under the theme: “Communication of animal science: Is it reliable? Is it relevant? Is it responsible?”
